Overview

Land Freight Operator
£26,000 – £28,000 per annum
Wythenshawe, Manchester
Permanent, Full-time (Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 17:30)

Noble Recruiting are looking for a confident and experienced Land Freight Operator to join our client’s expanding team in Wythenshawe, Manchester.

Responsibilities

• Support the Land Freight Operations Supervisor with day-to-day operations in line with company strategy
• Ensure customer invoicing is completed correctly and on time, in line with SOPs
• Accurately apply duties/VAT on invoices and manage collections where required
• Complete all import/export documentation and activities to deadlines
• Prepare spot quotations, raise jobs, liaise with overseas offices/clients, and issue delivery orders
• Check documentation for accuracy and authorise supplier invoices for payment
• Build strong customer relationships, assist with client audits, and liaise with the sales team

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year’s experience in Land or Road Freight operations
• Confident, outgoing, and customer-focused individual
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems
• Excellent communication and problem-solving ability
• Organised, with strong time management and multitasking skills
• Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• A driving licence and own transport are desirable
