Laboratory Assistant – Temporary Contract (3 Months Minimum)

Location: South Mimms – must be commutable 5 days per week

Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week (excluding lunch break)

Contract: Ongoing temporary role, minimum 3 months

Start Date: Must be available to start immediately

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain autoclaves, glasswashers, and sterilising ovens
• Ensure safe decontamination of hazardous materials
• Manage laundry and hygiene services for lab and cleanroom wear
• Coordinate with contractors and lab staff to resolve equipment and supply issues
• Maintain records for traceability and compliance
