Job summary

A leading education recruitment agency is seeking an SEMH Teaching Assistant to support KS4 students in Lymm with Special Educational Needs. This temporary, term-time role involves providing 1:1 and small-group support, assisting with behavior regulation, and working closely with teaching staff to enhance the learning environment. The ideal candidate will be calm, patient, and have a strong commitment to helping young people. Daily pay rate is £95, Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 3.30pm.

We are recruiting for an SEMH Teaching Assistant to support KS4 students with Special Educational Needs at a school in the Lymm area. This is a temporary, term-time only position and would suit someone who is calm, patient and confident supporting young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.

Role details
  • Position: SEMH Teaching Assistant (KS4 SEN)

  • Daily pay rate: £95
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am-3.30pm
  • Contract: Temporary, term time only

The successful candidate will help students access learning, provide 1:1 and small-group support, assist with behaviour regulation, and work closely with teaching staff to create a positive learning environment. Experience within SEN or SEMH settings is desirable, but a strong commitment to supporting young people is essential.
