A reputable educational provider in the North East of England is seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to work in a primary school in the Hartlepool area. The role begins in January 2026 and requires a Level 3 qualification in supporting teaching and learning. The Teaching Assistant will support KS2 children, working both individually and in small groups. Vision for Education is looking to appoint a full time Teaching Assistant to join our successful supply team and work in a primary school in the Hartlepool area.
This is a full time Teaching Assistant role, Monday to Friday 8:30am until 3:30pm, working a role of general TA within a Y5/6 class.
This role will commence January 2026 and will be on going with a potential to become long term, depending on the needs of the school at the time.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.
The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position is a Level 3 or above in Teaching and Supporting Learning and SEND experience would be desirable to the role. Working within small groups as well as generically within a class, so a pro active individual is required.
Working as part of a passionate teaching team, the desired teaching assistant will focus on providing a high standard of support for a small group of KS2 children for interventions as well as a general TA. Must be flexible to changing environments and working within small intervention groups.
