Overview

We are seeking to appoint a full-time, KS2 class teacher. There will also be the opportunity to lead curriculum subjects, and this will depend on the successful candidates' particular areas of expertise, as well as the needs of the school.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a teacher who:

  • Has a willingness to learn and develop their own practice
  • Is passionate about nurturing and developing young children's learning along with their personal development
  • Is inspirational and able to motivate and bring out the best in children
  • Has a dedication and commitment to raising standards
  • Is a team player with a positive attitude who has excellent interpersonal skills
  • Has high expectations for both achievement and behavior.
  • Has proven track record of good or outstanding teaching of KS2 classes, in particular year 6
  • Has excellent up to date curriculum knowledge
  • Has the ability to work as part of a team
  • Has excellent behavior management skills
  • Has excellent attendance and punctuality
