A leading teaching agency is seeking a dedicated KS2 Primary Teacher to work in Brent, London. The ideal candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status and substantial experience in raising standards for Years 3-6. The role involves planning and delivering high-quality lessons, collaborating with colleagues, and potentially leading a curriculum area. The agency offers support for professional development and straightforward pay.
Location: Brent (London Borough of Brent)
Salary: MPS1-MPS6
Start Date: ASAP (immediate start preferred)
School Type: Two-form entry, KS2 (Years 3-6)
Here’s what makes this school stand out (and why it might be the right fit for you):
The school was judged “Good” in its most recent Ofsted inspection (September 2023) and continues to strive for excellence.
The school community is underpinned by strong values: pupils live by the school’s values of Love, Excellence, Teamwork, Determination and Respect.
Behaviour and attitudes are a strength. Pupils behave consistently well, are supported, feel safe and are proud to be part of the school.
The school embraces diversity: a mixed and inclusive intake, with a large proportion of children who speak English as an additional language.
Extra‑curricular and cultural capital opportunities abound: nature/outdoor learning, adventure days, music concerts, pupil voice forums, after‑school clubs, demonstration trips, displays and galleries.
Strong systems for support: The school is committed to professional development of staff, ensuring you have training, supervision and opportunity to grow.
As the successful KS2 Teacher you will:
Be responsible for planning, delivering and assessing high‑quality learning across Year 3‑6 (exact year group to be confirmed in line with candidate experience and preference).
Embrace the school’s curriculum approach (knowledge organisers, cross‑cultural links, reading texts linked to topics) and work collaboratively with teaching colleagues to enhance planning and delivery.
Use assessment effectively to identify misconceptions, adapt lessons to meet learners’ needs and monitor progress so that all pupils achieve strongly (including those with SEND and EAL).
Potentially lead a curriculum area or key stage initiative if you are experienced (TLR payment available for the right candidate).
We are seeking a teacher who:
Has Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent valid UK teaching qualification.
Has strong KS2 experience, ideally with recent track record of raising standards and delivering creative, robust learning for Years 3‑6.
Is a positive team‑player, able to collaborate with colleagues, contribute to school development, and partner with parents and the community.
