Overview

KS2 Primary School Teacher – Prospero Teaching is looking for an enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to work in a primary school in East London. The school is a three-form entry Primary school with a supportive leadership team. The school is also providing training for all staff.

The position is open to both ECT (early careers teacher) and experienced teachers. Depending on performance, there is a chance that your contract can be extended or potentially become permanent.

Responsibilities

• Position: KS2 Primary School Teacher
• Type of work: Class Teacher – planning, presentations, marking, parents’ evenings, etc.

• Location: Waltham Forest, East London
• Type of work: Class Teacher
• Contract/Position start date: September 2025
• Duration/Likely duration: 1 term contract, may be extended

• Hours: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday – Friday (term time only)

Experience, Training & Qualifications

Eligibility

To be eligible for this role through Prospero:

• Have a valid right to work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS and be enrolled or willing to enrol onto the DBS update service
• Provide two child-related professional references from the past two years
