Key Stage 2 Teacher Job - Maternity Cover (Full-Time)

We are recruiting a Key Stage 2 Class Teacher for a full-time maternity cover position starting as soon as possible and running until July 2026 at a well-established school in Blackburn, Lancashire.

This role is ideal for a qualified primary teacher with experience or interest in KS2 teaching, who is passionate about delivering engaging, high-quality lessons and supporting pupils' academic and pastoral development.

The Role

• Full-time Key Stage 2 teaching role
• Responsibility for planning, teaching and assessing the KS2 curriculum
• Monitoring pupil progress and providing effective feedback
• Maintaining high standards of behaviour and learning
• Communicating effectively with parents and colleagues
• Contributing to school life, including trips and co-curricular activities

Person Specification

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a degree and PGCE (or equivalent)
