Do you enjoy helping children take their first steps in learning? Flexible supply work as a KS1 Teacher lets you do what you love, without the full-time pressure.

We work with Primary Schools across Gateshead, providing short-term and day-to-day KS1 cover to keep learning consistent for young pupils.

The role will involve:
  • Teaching KS1 classes
  • Supporting phonics-led learning and routines
  • Creating a nurturing classroom environment
  • Encouraging curiosity and confidence
  • Adapting to different schools with ease
We’re looking for someone who:
  • Has experience working with children
  • Holds UK QTS or equivalent
  • Is calm, patient and encouraging
  • Enjoys flexible teaching work
  • Has the right to work in the UK

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
