Job description
KS1 Class Teacher – Part-Time (3 Days) – Sheffield

Protocol Education is working with a primary school in Sheffield seeking a committed and confident KS1 teacher to support a class with significant behavioural needs. This is a part-time role, three days per week, available immediately and continuing until the end of the academic year.

About the Role

You will take responsibility for a KS1 class where several pupils require additional behavioural support. The school is looking for an educator who can provide calm, consistent routines and deliver high-quality teaching that helps pupils feel safe, settled, and able to engage with learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach the KS1 curriculum with a focus on stability, structure, and engagement
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies tailored to individual needs
  • Work closely with SLT, SEND colleagues, and support staff
  • Maintain clear and consistent classroom routines
  • Foster positive relationships with pupils to encourage progress and independence

Pay Rate

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
