Your rate of pay and hours of work

As our new Kitchen Porter in prestigious Edinburgh venues, you will receive a rate of pay of £12.21 per hour with holiday pay accrued on top of the hourly rate. You will work 5 out of 7 days per week, with the rotas changing on a weekly basis, providing some flexibility around your own availability.

Responsibilities in your new role

As the Kitchen Porter, you will be involved in basic preparation work within the kitchen and work closely with the Chefs where required, giving you excellent insight into the world of hospitality. Supporting the kitchen team, your key responsibilities will involve general cleaning of the kitchen utensils, pots, pans and preparation areas. You will demonstrate your strong attention to detail and maintain a high standard of cleanliness consistently. As the Kitchen Porter, you will gain unrivalled experience within a kitchen environment and learn from senior members of the team who can support your career objectives.
