Responsibilities include washing pots and ensuring cleanliness, following hygiene standards, and assisting the kitchen team with food prep. A positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential. Wash pots, pans, plates, and cutlery to the highest standard.
Ensure everything is cleaned, polished, and returned quickly so the kitchen runs like clockwork.
Wash and disinfect pot-wash appliances, work surfaces, floors, and walls to maintain a pristine environment.
Follow all back-of-house due diligence and hygiene standards.
Take responsibility for cleaning routines and ensure they’re always adhered to.
Remove and recycle waste efficiently from the restaurant areas.
Comply with internal audit requirements to keep standards sky-high.
Assist the kitchen team with food prep when needed—get hands-on and learn new skills!
Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
Ability to work well under pressure in a busy kitchen environment
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
Willingness to be flexible with shifts on a rota basis
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Previous kitchen experience is beneficial but not essential — full training provided
