Responsibilities

  • Clean all kitchen equipment to maintain hygiene standards.
  • Clean kitchen as per daily and weekly schedules.
  • Ensure waste and food bins are emptied regularly.
  • Clean the Staff Canteen as requested.
  • Assist in reducing energy costs and consumable waste.

Part of London + Regional Hotels, The Lensbury Resort is located on the Banks of the River Thames at Teddington and is home to an exclusive leisure club, a 155 bedroom hotel, meeting and events space, restaurant and bar, Spa and 25 acres of gardens and grounds.

The Job

As a Kitchen Porter, you will work across all our kitchen areas, carrying out plate wash duties as well as general kitchen cleaning duties to ensure a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness throughout.


Responsibilities


  • Clean all kitchen equipment, pots etc to ensure a high standard of hygiene is maintained.

  • Clean kitchen as laid down in the daily and weekly cleaning schedules to include surfaces, floors, working surfaces, ovens etc.

  • Ensure all waste and food bins are emptied regularly throughout the day.

  • On a rota basis, clean the Staff Canteen twice daily and as requested.

  • Work with colleagues to reduce energy costs and consumable waste.

  • Assist in any other duties as required.

Terms & Conditions


  • £25,398 per annum plus Tronc

  • 40 hours per week

  • Flexible shift pattern to cover evenings and weekends
