Overview

Company Searcys – Inner Temple location

Searcys is looking for a Kitchen Porter to join the team at the Inner Temple. As Kitchen Porter, you will play an integral part in the smooth running of all aspects of the catering operation within the venue. The Honourable Society of The Inner Temple, situated on the banks of the Thames, is one of the few remaining Georgian style event halls in the City of London. It offers a unique backdrop to a wide variety of events, including its surroundings of a three-acre garden.

Salary: £28,800, plus paid overtime

Hours: 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities
  • To ensure all areas of the kitchens and service areas on all floors are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness.
  • To work in all areas of the kitchen according to the weekly rota.
  • To ensure all areas are regularly checked for maintenance and repairs.
  • To comply with all Health and Safety, and Food Safety legislation.
  • To receive, count, inspect and store goods and/or equipment and dispensing them to different departments.
  • Waste management.
  • To be involved in some food preparation and service.
