Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all food stock control processes across SEC kitchens
  • Manage ordering, deliveries, storage and stock rotation in line with food safety standards
  • Monitor food costs, margins and GP, identifying and addressing variances
  • Support menu costing, portion control and waste reduction initiatives
  • Lead stock takes, audits and reporting, ensuring accuracy and accountability
  • Work closely with culinary and finance teams to drive cost efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, allergen, HACCP and health & safety standards
  • Support continuous improvement of kitchen systems and processes

About You

  • Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager, Back of House Manager or Senior Chef with strong stock and cost control responsibility
  • Strong understanding of food cost management, GP control and stock systems
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident communicator able to influence and support kitchen teams
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, compliance and audit requirements
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, event‑driven environment

Why Join Levy at SEC Glasgow?

  • Work at one of the UK’s most iconic and diverse event venues
  • Be part of Levy, a market leader in premium hospitality and event catering
  • Access to development, training and career progression across Compass Group
  • A dynamic, high‑volume operation where your impact is visible every day

If you’re commercially minded, operationally strong and passionate about driving standards and efficiency in kitchens at scale, we’d love to hear from you.
