A quality care home group in Leeds is seeking a Roaming Head Chef to manage a fresh food led kitchen. This role offers a great work/life balance with day-time shifts and alternate weekends off. The ideal candidate will have a background in fresh food preparation and baking, with at least 3 years of experience in a kitchen environment. The position provides menu autonomy and opportunities for career progression.

This high quality care home group based in Leeds has a number of care homes around Leeds that caters for up to 60 residents, providing breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinners for early evening meals, all made fresh in house, including all cakes and pastries, so a knowledge of basic bakery is a must, and you would be tasked with working at a base kitchen but covering head chef needs around the company on a week to week basis
Working within professional teams at each home with numerous chef, KA's and waiting staff, everything is set up here to allow you to succeed, from the very well supplied kitchen and kit, to the fresh food menu's which you will be asked to contribute to designing, to the industry leading support and compliance procedures, everything is in place to allow you to be at your best every day.
