Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Kitchen Manager to join our team at Pirbright, GU24 0QQ.

The Kitchen Manager will oversee all aspects of catering operations, specifically supporting corporate meetings and private functions. This role involves managing a team, ensuring events meet profitability goals, adhering to food safety regulations, and maintaining high-quality standards. You will be responsible for daily operational oversight, staff management, budgeting, and delivering an outstanding client experience.

To be eligible for this role, due to the sector requirements:you must have been a UK resident for the past 3 years and have legal right to work in the UK and be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.

  • This is a full-time position, 37.5 hours/week, working pattern Monday to Friday and middle shifts, leaving your evenings free - a rarity when you work in hospitality.

A day in the life of a Kitchen Manager:
  • Lead and manage a team of nine catering staff, providing direction and support to meet Aramark's high standards.
  • Plan, organise, and execute catering services for corporate meetings and private functions.
  • Ensure all events are on-budget and profitable, monitoring cost controls and maintaining profit margins.
  • Oversee compliance with food safety regulations, ensure recipe cards are strictly followed, and enforce quality standards.
  • Build and maintain client relationships, ensuring their catering needs are met with high satisfaction.
  • Coordinate logistics, including event setup, transportation, inventory management, and scheduling.
You will be set up for success if you have:
  • Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or in a similar role within the hospitality or food service industry.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team of nine.
  • Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities, with a focus on detail and compliance.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and industry regulations.
  • Flexibility to work some weekends when events are booked.
