Overview

Our Kitchen Assistants focus on supporting kitchen team in creating positively memorable dining experiences for our guests. This role reports directly to the Kitchen Manager and is part of a team based from our attractive hotel in Leamington, CV34 6RJ.

Responsibilities
  • Dishwashing: All dishes ranging from pots and pans to cutlery are either hand washed or loaded into the dishwasher
  • Delivery Organisation: As a Kitchen Porter you will be responsible for receiving deliveries and ensuring they are organised once in the kitchen
  • Storage Management: Storage must be organised so that all ingredients are easily accessible
  • Waste Removal: All waste bins are emptied, ensuring all waste is disposed of promptly
  • Basic Food Preparation: When the kitchen is extremely busy, kitchen staff may ask you to support with basic food prep
  • Material collection: If your Chefs need materials or ingredients, you will support by collecting them

  • Good physical fitness for spending a lot of time on feet and unloading heavy deliveries
  • Efficiency in fast‑paced environment and strong communication skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and adapt to meet the needs of both company and guests
