Job description

We're looking for a motivated and passionate Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Chartwells on a part-time basis, contracted for 25 hours per week. You will be part of a team that takes pride in their food, brand, and most importantly, their people. Shift pattern:

  • Mon: Full-time (Days)
  • Tues: Full-time (Days)
  • Weds: Full-time (Days)
  • Thurs: Full-time (Days)
  • Fri: Full-time (Days)
  • Sat: Off
  • Sun: Off

Please note: This role is contracted for 38 weeks per year.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing high-quality food that delights our clients and customers
  • Maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen and surrounding areas
  • Using all machinery and equipment correctly
  • Assisting with loading and unloading deliveries
  • Representing Chartwells and maintaining a positive brand image
  • Following Food Handling & Hygiene standards
  • Adhering to Health & Safety regulations
