Utilita Arena Sheffield opened in 1991, is a vibrant multi-purpose venue that hosts world-class concerts, sporting events, and family entertainment. About the Role

As our Kitchen Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen by maintaining cleanliness, assisting with basic food preparation, and supporting the kitchen staff.

Your Responsibilities:

• Ensure all kitchen utensils, dishes, pots, pans, crockery and glassware are fully cleaned
• Ensure the kitchen and all food preparation areas are always clean and tidy.
• Complete a full clean down of the kitchens after service.
• Assist chefs and kitchen staff with basic food preparation when required.
• Operate dishwashing machines and ensure all equipment is cleaned and maintained.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience in a kitchen or similar environment is a plus but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work well as part of a team and take direction from senior staff.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Understanding of basic health and safety regulations in a kitchen environment.
