A leading rehabilitation centre in Sheffield is seeking a Kitchen Assistant who can maintain high standards in our kitchen. This role involves supporting the culinary team with cleaning, organization, and providing quality service during mealtimes. Successful candidates will have experience in a commercial kitchen, excellent organizational skills, and a customer service mindset. The position offers a salary of £24,570 per year pro rata and a generous benefits package, fostering an environment focused on collaboration and employee growth.

The Kitchen Assistant at STEPSprovides support to our team of Chefs with cleaning and maintaining our highstandards. They also provide high quality service to our clients, aligned withSTEPS values and behaviours and working as a key member of theinter-disciplinary team.

To carry out all cleaning duties allocated to you in accordance with the cleaning schedules and standards, as directed by the Head Chef.
Ensure all orders are put away promptly and stock is rotated
Pot washing
To dispose of all refuse carefully
To keep the cafe area stocked with supplies, clean and tidy.

Serving in the cafe during mealtimes
