A leading care provider in Manchester is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support meal preparations and maintain kitchen standards. The ideal candidate will work as part of a dedicated team, ensuring a positive dining experience for residents. Previous kitchen experience is preferred. Please note: The hours for this vacancy are 08:00 - 14:00 on a three on three off shift pattern.
Our kitchen team at De Brook Lodge is a huge part of care home life and the Kitchen Assistant helps the Cook to plan and prepare a variety of meals which are appealing, nutritious and centred around our residents' preferences, requests and dietary requirements. As well as helping to ensure the dining experience exceeds our resident's expectations at every mealtime, the Kitchen Assistant will also help keep our state of-the-art kitchen facilities up to our high standards
