This is a great opportunity for a passionate and fast-learning individual to join the team as a Kitchen Assistant at the Acacia Care Centre in South Norwood, London. The role offers a competitive hourly rate of £12.25 and a range of employee benefits, including a Blue Light Discount Card, holiday and days out discounts, long service awards, and a recognition programme.

Main duties of the job

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the kitchen team in the day-to-day operations of the care home. This will include tasks such as food preparation, cleaning, and ensuring the kitchen environment is maintained to high standards. The role requires a flexible approach, as you will be working 37 hours per week, including alternate weekends.
