Overview

Relief Kitchen Assistant
Location: Farnham Common, Buckinghamshire, SL2 3HU
Pay rate: £12.27 per hour
Contracted hours: Relief

Farnham Common House care home is in an ideal location with easy access to the M40, M25, M4, and Slough. Our care home provides a comfortable, home-from-home living environment, offering 50 individual rooms positioned over four separate wings. At Farnham Common House care home, there is plenty of communal and outdoor space, so everyone can get involved in a variety of social activities. Personal items can be brought from home and added to rooms to give them that homely feel.

Responsibilities
  • Join our catering team to create delicious meals, snacks and drinks for our residents.
  • Get to know our residents and understand their likes and dislikes so that mealtimes are a highlight of their day.
  • Work alongside other team members who are passionate about providing care, warmth and kindness in the home.
About you / Qualifications
  • You don’t need previous formal catering experience; training will be provided.
  • Helpful to hold a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
  • Positive can-do attitude with good communication skills and a focus on delivering excellent resident service.
  • Confident in engaging with our elderly residents to understand their individual needs and to work as part of the wider team in the home.
