Key Responsibilities of the Kitchen Assistant

1. Ensure efficient time and motion at all times.
2. Basic chemical knowledge.
3. Basic understanding of a plate and pot wash service area.
4. Understanding of assigned task standards.
5. Ensure the plate and pot wash areas are functioning to high standards at all times.
6. Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and upkeep of equipment.
7. Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules and duties are carried out as instructed by senior chefs.
8. Contribute to building a team, fostering team spirit, and showing active interest in employee welfare, safety, and development.
