Job description

The Kitchen Assistant is responsible for the day to day running of a busy kitchen, providing support and reporting to the Cook within the Nursing Home.The Kitchen Assistant will be responsible for keeping a high level of standards that are set in the Kitchen and will record and document all key aspects of their role if successful. Food preparation throughout the day and after a good induction period will be expected to be knowledgeable with the demands of the kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Food Preparation alongside the Cook.
• Cleaning and maintaining a high level of standards within the Kitchen.
• Record keeping for all mandatory records within the Kitchen.
