Overview

Daytime Healthcare Agency is currently recruiting for the below opportunity for 2:1 day care based in Wembley area.

Hours: Agency contract - flexible. Part time/full time

About the Role

You will work collaboratively with another support worker to ensure a safe, structured, and positive environment. This role involves:

  • Supporting with daily routines, personal care, and life skills
  • Managing sensory needs and supporting emotional regulation
  • Promoting independence and social inclusion
Essential Requirements
  • Experience supporting individuals with autism
  • Ability to work as part of a 2:1 team and follow structured plans
  • Patience, empathy, and resilience in challenging situations
  • Strong communication and record-keeping skills
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain)
Rate
  • Umbrella: £16.20/hour
  • PAYE: £12.51/hour
  • Flat rate, Monday-Sunday
Shift Patterns
  • Day: 2:1 support ×2 staff — 08:00 to 20:00
  • Night: 1:1 support ×1 staff — 20:00 to 08:00
Role

Ongoing care package supporting a teenage service user with autism, focusing on building independence.

Requirements
  • Previous experience supporting individuals with autism
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a 2:1 or 1:1 setting
  • Reliability and good communication skills
Desirable
  • Training in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
  • Full UK driving licence
