Qualifications

  • Proven experience teaching Key Stage 2 is essential.

Job description

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate KS2 teacher who is keen to make a positive impact and is committed to delivering high-quality teaching within a nurturing, inclusive and engaging learning environment, where pupils are supported to achieve their full potential.

As the Key Stage 2 Teacher, you will:

  • Take full responsibility for planning, preparing and delivering engaging and creative KS2 lessons in line with the national curriculum

  • Adapt lessons and learning resources to meet the needs of all pupils, including those requiring additional support

  • Create a positive, structured and supportive classroom environment that promotes effective learning and positive behaviour

  • Work closely with teaching assistants, senior leaders and wider support staff to ensure the best outcomes for pupils

  • Support pupils with a range of learning needs in an inclusive and nurturing way

  • Collaborate effectively with therapists and other professionals where appropriate

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential

  • Have proven experience teaching Key Stage 2 - essential

  • Experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) - desirable

    • Particularly experience with Autism and ADHD

  • Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Have a caring, patient, flexible and proactive approach to teaching
