A leading educational recruitment agency in the UK is seeking a passionate KS2 teacher to join a supportive primary school. The role involves planning engaging lessons, adapting resources for diverse learners, and collaborating with teaching staff to support pupil development. Ideal candidates will have Qualified Teacher Status and experience in Key Stage 2, with a caring and proactive approach to teaching. As the Key Stage 2 Teacher, you will:
Take full responsibility for planning, preparing and delivering engaging and creative KS2 lessons in line with the national curriculum
Adapt lessons and learning resources to meet the needs of all pupils, including those requiring additional support
Create a positive, structured and supportive classroom environment that promotes effective learning and positive behaviour
Work closely with teaching assistants, senior leaders and wider support staff to ensure the best outcomes for pupils
Support pupils with a range of learning needs in an inclusive and nurturing way
Collaborate effectively with therapists and other professionals where appropriate
To be considered for this role, you must:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
Have proven experience teaching Key Stage 2 - essential
Experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) - desirable
Particularly experience with Autism and ADHD
Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills
Have a caring, patient, flexible and proactive approach to teaching
