Job summary

A leading education recruitment agency is seeking a passionate Key Stage 1 Teacher for a full-time role starting in January in Ashton-in-Makerfield. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing engaging lesson plans and fostering an inclusive classroom environment while managing pupil behaviour, particularly in a class with Behavioural Needs. Qualifications

  • At least 6 months teaching experience within the last 2 years ideally within KS2.
  • Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
  • Ability to provide two professional childcare references within the last 2 years.

Salary - From £110+ depending on experience

Are you a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 1 Teacher looking for a rewarding new role? We want you to join a fantastic school in Ashton-in-Makerfield who are offering a long-term, full-time role within the Year 2 class to start in January until Summer. This is a small class with Behavioural Needs and will need experience supporting with Challenging Behaviour. Team Teach is a bonus, but not essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage pupil behaviour through established strategies and techniques
  • Assess and evaluate pupil progress, providing feedback to support their development
  • Maintain professional standards and adhere to QTS requirements in all teaching practices
