Key Stage 2 Teacher / Year 6 Teacher - QTS SEMH & ASC School, Basingstoke. ASAP start - Permanent position.

Academics are recruiting on behalf of a provision in Basingstoke which provides education for pupils aged 10-16 years with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) and Autism (ASC). They are looking to appoint an engaging, empathetic and passionate Key Stage 2 Teacher / Year 6 Teacher to join their successful teaching staff. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Role and responsibilities

The suitable Key Stage 2 Teacher / Year 6 Teacher must be fully qualified, be emotionally intelligent, empathetic, highly motivated and be able to deliver an exciting and engaging curriculum that develops learners\' knowledge and skills.

The successful Key Stage 2 Teacher / Year 6 Teacher will ideally have experience of teaching in an SEN/SEMH school although this role is open to all. What is important is being able to engage with young people, build positive relationships and have the ability to tailor your lessons to meet their individual learning needs.
