TeacherActive is delighted to be working alongside a friendly 2‑form entry Primary School in Longbridge, who are seeking a Year 2 Teacher to join their team on a full‑time basis from April 2026.
This is a maternity cover position, running from April 2026 until the end of the academic year. You will be teaching a lovely Year 2 class, supporting pupils during a key transition point in Key Stage 1, where strong foundations for learning are essential.
The school is rated “Good” by Ofsted and is widely recognised for its welcoming, supportive, and collaborative staff team. Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (ECTs are encouraged to apply!)
Have experience teaching within Key Stage 1
Maintain high expectations for pupil progress and achievement
Use a creative, engaging, and innovative teaching approach
Be committed, flexible, and a strong team player
Have a genuine desire to make a positive difference to children’s lives
