The company is a well-established leader in producing premium products, including fresh and innovative offerings. Over the past decade, it has experienced significant growth, supplying key customers in the UK food retail, wholesale, and foodservice sectors.

About the Key Accounts Manager - 1 Year Maternity Contract job

The purpose of your role will be to manage and grow customer relationships while driving new business opportunities, overseeing product development projects, and contributing to price negotiations with a focus on profitability.

Key tasks

  • Plan and deliver customer growth by creating agreed objectives and strategies that align with the companies overall business goals.
  • Maximise sales and profitability through effective negotiation, smart pricing, and identifying new opportunities in the market.
  • Build strong customer relationships through regular visits, clear communication, and close collaboration with internal teams.
  • Lead and manage projects effectively from planning to delivery, ensuring accurate forecasting, market awareness, and continuous improvement.

About You

  • The successful candidate shall have commercial experience within an FMCG setting, ideally managing customers across retail and/or food service.
  • Skilled in building strong client relationships, consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets, and delivering clear, impactful communication.

The Key Accounts Manager job (ref:8937) is paying£35,000 - £45,000 according to your experience.

The role requires someone to travel Nationwide with some time required on site weekly. Client visits in the London are also required. Benefits include the use of a company car.

The hours will be 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. This is a contacted role for the period of approximately one year.
