Our client, a forward-thinking planning consultancy, is looking for a Junior Town Planner. You’ll work on a diverse portfolio of projects, from residential and commercial developments to mixed-use and regeneration schemes. This is a role where you can make a real impact by guiding projects from concept through to completion while managing planning applications and overseeing development management responsibilities.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Prepare, manage, and submit planning applications and appeals
  • Oversee development management processes to ensure high-quality outcomes and compliance with planning conditions
  • Engage with local authorities, stakeholders, and communities to build strong relationships
  • Conduct site appraisals, feasibility studies, and planning policy research
  • Provide strategic planning and development advice to clients and project teams
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and environmental specialists
What We’re Looking For
  • A degree in Town Planning or a related discipline (RTPI accredited)
  • Relevant experience in a similar role
  • Understanding of UK planning legislation, policy, and development management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
