A leading educational institution in Exeter is seeking a Junior Test Analyst to enhance its IT development and testing capabilities. The successful candidate will participate in quality assurance processes, applying their testing skills across various platforms and technologies. This role includes developing automated tests, communicating with stakeholders, and implementing reliable testing procedures. Flexibility and adaptability are essential, along with strong technical and communication skills.
This full time post is available immediately on a permanent basis and offers the opportunity for hybrid working - some time on campus and some time from home.

We are looking for a Junior Test Analyst to join our team to work on the University’s quality assurance capabilities for IT development and testing.
You will create and maintain manual and automated tests using tools and techniques that will enable increased reliability and repeatability of system development and testing.
You will ensure the quality of delivered solutions by developing, writing and implementing manual and automated tests across all test/project phases.
You will liaise with stakeholders across the business to develop a solid understanding of use cases, translating these into robust test cases.
You will implement and maintain an automation environment that supports efficient, reliable testing and deployment processes that enable fast and robust IT development across the full range of IT applications.
You will be responsible for implementing and managing tools and techniques for tests across a broad range of IT technologies and platforms.
Implement a broad variety of complex technical, operational and problem solving activities for IT applications and services, and provide professional advice about your area of expertise to academic and professional services staff.
