HolidayPirates Group is looking for a creative Digital Marketing Manager to help steer our key social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook) to success. We believe travel should be accessible to everyone and scour the web for the best travel deals and hidden gems, helping millions of users in the UK explore the world without breaking the bank.
DUTIES ON DECK
- Showcase our deals and content across our key social media channels through short-form video, Facebook posts, interactive Instagram stories and more.
- Scripting, filming and editing face‑to‑camera videos and hopping on TikTok/Reel trends.
- Engage with our users and other brands by responding to comments, chatting with followers, and keeping the conversation witty and lively.
- Use analytics tools to report on key metrics and analyse content performance for continuous improvement.
- Work closely with the Digital Marketing Lead and Digital Marketing team to contribute to a social media strategy that excites our users and turns followers into engaged users.
- Keep on top of trends (memes, culture, trending destinations) and utilise them in our content mix.
- Look out for travel news and trending topics and assist in writing snackable blog content.
- Create a social media calendar identifying key events and days to utilise on our platforms.
YOUR TREASURE OF EXPERIENCE
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships both inside and outside the team.
- Excellent copywriting skills and ability to adapt tone of voice.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the social media environment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple social media platforms, particularly TikTok, Instagram and Facebook.
- Confident in front of the camera and a captivating storyteller.
- Experience using Canva is a plus.
- You’re a natural brand evangelist.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, results‑driven environment.
- You welcome the challenge of trial & error.
