Purpose of the Role

To work on projects in the fields of Computer Vision, Machine Learning and Deep Learning.

Role Dimensions

Reporting to Head of Research & Development; member of the R&D team

Principal Responsibilities
  • Applying machine learning to the field of digital identity verification.
  • The opportunity to build models from an idea, and helping to make models “production ready” so they can be passed to our deployment team.
  • Assessing models for signs of bias with respect to any number of attributes.
  • Working with huge real‑world datasets, and conducting research while also preserving the privacy of our users.
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Experience
  • Strong knowledge of the theory and maths behind deep learning.
  • Strong Python programming skills (Tensorflow or PyTorch), and the ability to write clean, maintainable code.
  • Strong analytical skills, and a keen interest in problem solving.
  • PhD in computer science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • The ability to build, train and test functional prototypes for new loss functions, models and training paradigms.
Interview Process

Stage 1 - Call with a talent team acquisition member (30 minutes)

Stage 2 - Coding interview

Stage 3 - Research presentation (1 hour)

Stage 4 - Final interview (1 hour)
