About the role

We are seeking a Junior Project Manager to plan, monitor, and manage internal projects from initiation through to completion. You will lead or coordinate project planning, resourcing, staffing, supply and subcontract management, progress reporting, troubleshooting, and people management. You will ensure project results meet requirements regarding technical quality, reliability, schedule, and cost. Additionally, you will monitor performance and recommend schedule changes, cost adjustments, or resource additions.

Responsibilities
  • Leading the delivery of small to medium-scale projects or project workstreams.
  • Developing and managing project plans, schedules, budgets, and resources.
  • Identifying, tracking, and mitigating project risks and issues.
  • Ensuring project deliverables meet quality standards and business objectives.
  • Engaging and communicating with stakeholders at various levels.
  • Preparing status updates, reports, and documentation for governance and decision-making.
  • Working with external vendors and internal departments to coordinate delivery.
  • Supporting benefits realisation, project evaluation, and closure activities.
  • Ensuring alignment with the company's project management frameworks and methodologies.
Requirements
  • Good experience in project delivery roles.
  • Proven ability to manage end-to-end project delivery or key project workstreams.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in matrix environments.
  • Exposure to formal project methodologies such as PRINCE2, Agile, or PMP.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Project Management, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience using project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet).
