Job summary

A leading motorsport team in Brackley is seeking a Junior Project Build Technician to assist in the assembly of mechanical systems for race car configurations. You will ensure the highest standards for factory-based simulation testing and contribute to a variety of engineering projects. Ideal candidates will have a recognised apprenticeship, knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems, and excellent attention to detail. Qualifications

  • Recognised apprenticeship or qualification required.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic and basic electrical systems necessary.
  • Basic skills in milling, turning and fitting expected.
  • Familiarity with CAD software is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and build mechanical systems for simulation testing.
  • Assembly and checking of technology engineering projects.
  • Maintain stock consumables for part preparation.
  • Manual machining operations with quality control.
  • Provide technical feedback on component fitment.
