Role Overview

As the Junior Production Engineer, you'll be tasked with performing hands‑on tasks relating to the manufacturing, assembly, and testing of products, monitoring production processes, identifying deviations, and conducting initial troubleshooting and diagnosis of equipment and process issues. Additionally, you'll contribute to continuous process development and optimisation by identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, yield, and reduce operating costs, assist in the development and validation of new manufacturing processes and technologies and champion a positive safety and environmental culture to satisfy ISO 18001 and ISO 14001 requirements.

Required Qualifications
  • Level 3 diploma or equivalent qualification in Engineering
  • 3 years of experience as a Production Technician/Engineer in a similar fabrication environment
  • Experience working in a manufacturing/production environment
  • Broad knowledge of manufacturing and engineering principles
  • Knowledge of scientific experimentation techniques
  • Good understanding of statistical process control techniques
