A newly or recently qualified Planning Solicitor is required by a leading law firm in the regions. The successful candidate will have an appreciation of Planning Law issues and an ambition to be part of an established and leading team. The workload is high quality and varied, with good support and training on offer. A candidate with at least 6 months experience in Planning law during their training contract, including spring or summer 2025 qualifiers, is of interest.
A rare vacancy has arisen in this friendly practice for a planning solicitor to focus on development planning. The incoming solicitor is likely to be around 1-4 years qualified and will join a specialist team of Planning Lawyers who advise some of the UK leading developers on complex housing and regeneration projects.
You will be advising on complex S106/278 agreements, CPO as well as public inquiries and judicial reviews. This is a superb opportunity for a junior planning lawyer who is keen to push themselves on exciting projects while being supervised by experts with many years of service. The hiring practice has Real Estate running through its DNA, which means that planning will always remain a core function, and also means that partnership prospects are realistic.
