LKAB is looking for a Junior Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to ensure LKAB is delivering high standards of operational efficiency, innovation and continuous improvement. This role will be instrumental in ensuring that the plant realises its full potential in terms of safety and quality, increasing uptime and reducing breakdowns of machinery, working alongside the performance manager and maintenance supervisor to identify maintenance priorities, fault find and use predictive maintenance methods to ensure maximum plant operation. You will support both planned and reactive maintenance work and plant improvements and projects throughout the plant, across a variety of machinery and equipment of varying ages and processes, ensuring accurate logs and record are maintained.
Based on site at Runcorn working alongside the Maintenance Supervisor, Performance manager and Engineering team.
Candidates with the experience or relevant job titles of Junior Maintenance Engineer, Trainee Maintenance Technician, Mechanical Engineer, Service Engineer, Field Service Technician, Junior Service Technician, Trainee Mechanical Engineer, Mechanical Technician, Electrical Engineer, Electrical Technician and Repair Engineer may also be considered for this role.
