LOCATION: Port Glasgow, Scotland

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent

Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Support the development, implementation, and execution of annual brand plans across a full marketing mix
  • Performance Reporting: Ensure brand plans deliver on objectives and report on progress monthly
  • Event Management: Attend and assist with the successful delivery of exhibitions and events
  • Content Creation: Collaborate with the in-house creative team on photoshoot planning to ensure products are showcased to their best advantage in still imagery and videos
  • Communications: Produce valuable content for both internal and external communications
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work in cross-departmental groups, representing the marketing function
  • Sales Tools: Create and deliver sales tools for both business and end-user customers
  • Social Media Strategy: Work with your immediate team to deliver an effective social media marketing strategy
  • Marketing Campaigns: Collaborate with the wider marketing team to generate creative video content, blogs, and email campaigns
  • Public Relations: Work with our external PR company to help capitalise on key marketing opportunities and press coverage
  • Ambassador Relations: Communicate with our brand ambassadors
Candidate Requirements
  • Demonstratable experience in developing effective marketing strategies (campaigns, digital, POS, advertising)
  • Strong project management skills
  • Confident communicator with good presentation skills
  • Strong copywriting and content creation skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Able to work within set budgets, efficiently and effectively
  • Up to date with latest marketing techniques and best practice
  • Ability to work to tight timescales and deadlines
  • Contributing to pitching tents and displaying camping equipment in the best possible way
Desirable
  • Active interest in outdoor activity, particularly camping
  • Experience with email marketing
