Junior Maintenance Engineer (Electrical or Mechanical) - FM Service Provider - Commercial Building - City of London - £35,000 - £40,000

CBW Staffing Solutions are recruiting a Junior Maintenance Engineer (electrical, mechanical, or plumbing background) to be based in a commercial building in the City of London. The role involves carrying out planned and reactive building maintenance alongside the on-site maintenance team. The successful candidate will work closely with a senior team member to gain experience and training in building services.

The role offers a competitive salary, overtime, training, and potential career progression.

Responsibilities
  • Lighting (small installations, fault-finding, lamp replacements)
  • Emergency lighting tests & fire alarm tests
  • Plant room maintenance
  • Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Units (filter changes, cleaning)
  • Control Panels
  • Changing Ballasts
  • BMS System monitoring (e.g., hot & cold conditions)
  • Carrying out all aspects of M&E/Fabric maintenance
  • Maintaining and updating log books
  • Plumbing – unblocking toilets
  • Pumps and motors maintenance
Requirements
  • Electrically qualified – City & Guilds Level 3 or mechanically City & Guilds Level 2
  • Copies of trade certificates available for verification
  • Proven track record in commercial building maintenance
  • Hard working attitude
  • Good communication skills
  • Client-facing experience

  • Hours: Monday to Friday – 08:00 to 17:00
