Job summary

A fast-growing UK software company is looking for a Junior IT Technician to join their internal IT team in Bristol. This office-based role is perfect for recent graduates or those at the start of their IT career. Responsibilities include providing first-line IT support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and assisting in web application updates. Candidates should have an A Level or equivalent in IT, a genuine interest in technology, and strong problem-solving skills. A structured onboarding and development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

  • No formal commercial experience required; personal projects will be considered.
  • Interest in troubleshooting desktops and laptops.
  • Willingness to learn and grow technical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Providing 1st line internal IT support (hardware & software).
  • Troubleshooting user issues and fixing peripherals.
  • Updating web applications using FTP.

Skills

Logical thinker with good problem-solving skills
Confident communicator — written and verbal
A genuine interest in IT and technology
Able to work independently and as part of a team

Education

A Level, BTEC or equivalent qualification in IT / Computing
