Overview

Junior Health & Safety Advisor Central London Up to GBP42,000 + package Permanent, full–time

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Junior Health & Safety Advisor to join a busy construction contractor with a strong pipeline of projects across Central London. This is a site–based role where you ll support project teams, ensure compliance with legislation, and help drive a positive safety culture on site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support site teams with the implementation and maintenance of health & safety standards

  • Carry out regular site inspections and audits, reporting findings and recommending improvements

  • Assist with the preparation and review of risk assessments and method statements

  • Ensure compliance with UK health & safety legislation and company policies

  • Provide advice and guidance to managers and operatives on health, safety, and welfare matters

  • Deliver inductions, toolbox talks, and safety briefings

  • Contribute to incident investigations and ensure follow–up actions are completed

What We re Looking For
  • 1 3 years experience in a health & safety role, ideally within construction

  • NEBOSH Construction / General Certificate (or equivalent) essential

  • Up–date knowledge of UK health & safety legislation and best practice

  • Strong communicator with the ability to influence site teams positively

  • Proactive and hands–on approach, comfortable working on site

  • Well organised, with the ability to prioritise workload effectively

  • Living within a commutable distance of Central London

  • Full right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available)
