Junior / Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer – Salary GBP28–38k – Based Worcester

A Junior Mechanical Design Engineer is required for a busy engineering company based in Worcester. The company designs and manufactures specialised capital equipment for clients predominantly within the oil & gas sector.

Responsibilities

• Join a technically strong team of Design Engineers and Analysts and utilise design and drafting skills for the design, detailing and component specification to support company projects.
• Ensure timely, safe and cost-effective Design for Manufacture (DFM).
• Compile general assembly drawings and be responsible for Bill of Materials (BOM) management.

Qualifications

• Well suited to a Graduate, or HNC with equivalent experience.
• Strong Mechanical Design and drafting skills using 2D and 3D CAD (ideally SolidEdge).
• Bright, dynamic individual who is eager to develop Mechanical Design skills and career.
