Sharp Consultancy are pleased to be working with a progressive and growing business in Sheffield to recruit a Junior FP&A Analyst. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who is looking to develop their career within financial planning and analysis in a forward-thinking organisation.

Reporting into the new FP&A Manager, this role will provide exposure to budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis, working closely with senior stakeholders to support informed decision-making across the business.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the preparation of budgets, forecasts and long-range plans

• Producing and analysing monthly performance reports and KPIs

• Assisting with variance analysis and providing insightful commentary

• Developing financial models to support commercial decision-making

• Supporting ad-hoc analysis and business cases

• Working closely with non-finance stakeholders to improve financial understanding

About you:

• Part-qualified or actively studying towards CIMA / ACCA / ACA

• Previous experience in a finance or analytical role

• Strong Excel skills with the ability to manipulate and interpret data

• Naturally analytical with a questioning mindset

• Confident communicator, able to present financial information clearly
