Qualifications

  • Proven experience in fault finding and maintenance.
  • Background in Electronics preferred in a technology service environment.
  • Technical experience in field engineer role is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Service and maintain WCCTV Rapid Deployment CCTV Towers.
  • Provide technical support and ensure systems function optimally.
  • Travel to various locations for field service work.

Job description

Do you have a passion for technology and problem-solving? Would you thrive in a dynamic field-based role? We are currently looking for a Junior Field Service Engineer to join our busy team in North London!

In the role of Junior Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and providing technical support for WCCTV Rapid Deployment CCTV Towers. This field-based position will see you travelling to various locations from your home base, ensuring our cutting-edge systems are functioning optimally. You'll play a crucial part in delivering outstanding service to our customers, utilising your initiative, and maintaining a strong commitment to quality and efficiency. Whether diagnosing faults or documenting processes, you'll be an essential part of our mission to provide first-class service.

Hours of Work: Full-time

  • Full, Clean UK Drivers Licence
  • Manual dexterity – the ability to assemble and fix electronic equipment to a prescribed standard.
  • Demonstrate proven experience in fault finding, commissioning and maintenance of electrical equipment
  • HNC level or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
  • Knowledge of stock control processes:
  • Background in Electronics preferably gained in a technology service environment, together with an understanding of analytical applications.
  • Previous technical experience in a field engineer, field technician or white goods technician role is desirable but not essential.
  • Previous experience within the CCTV or alarm field is desirable, any technical background knowledge is favoured.
  • Annual Salary of £25,000 to £29,000 depending on experience.
  • On-going learning and development, internal and external training including nationally recognising accreditations: EUSR, PASMA and IPAF.
  • Expect to receive quarterly pay increases in line with our installations pay structure
  • 25 days annual leave, increasing with length of service, plus bank holidays.
  • Private healthcare and dental care schemes, supplying wellness and mental health support services.
  • Company pension scheme, with employer contributions increasing with length of service.
  • Access to retail discounts via Mintago finance and wellbeing hub.
