Job description
Overview

Are you ready to take the next step in your insurance career and work on some of the most complex and high-value risks in the market? This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Client Advisor with at least two years’ experience in commercial or corporate insurance to join a leading Risk Management team in Birmingham.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a small portfolio of major clients, including global insurance programmes and blue-chip businesses. These accounts involve intricate structures and significant premium spends, often exceeding £1 million, so attention to detail and a methodical, thorough approach are essential.
  • Support Client Executives and senior Client Advisors with all aspects of account management, including renewals, mid-term adjustments, invoicing, slip production and client queries. Maintain strong client relationships and provide technical support when needed. This is not a high-volume role; you will typically manage four to five large accounts, giving you the chance to build deep, long-term relationships.
Qualifications
  • Experience in a similar role within commercial or corporate insurance (at least two years).
  • Strong organisational skills and confidence in communication and negotiation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems.
  • Genuine interest in developing your technical expertise and working on complex cases that require precision and problem-solving.
Working pattern

This is a hybrid position with a requirement to attend the Birmingham office at least two days per week, including a team day on Wednesday.

Benefits and opportunity

In return, you will benefit from professional development opportunities, a collaborative culture and the chance to work on some of the most challenging and rewarding accounts in the industry.
