About the Role

As Junior Buyer, you’ll be part of a small, friendly team and report directly to the Buying Manager. You’ll play a key role in managing product categories, analysing data, supporting the sourcing strategy, and helping to ensure smooth stock flow. This is a varied role, perfect for someone who is commercially minded, confident in communication, and ready to take ownership of their development.

  • Manage existing product categories in line with customer demand
  • Review performance data to identify trends and opportunities
  • Plan and forecast stock levels and manage supply accordingly
  • Build and maintain supplier relationships; negotiate pricing and terms
  • Source new suppliers and explore alternative supply routes
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely product launches and deliveries
  • Analyse sales data and share insights to maximise category performance
  • Monitor commodity prices and identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Occasionally attend supplier visits, trade shows, and store visits
